Storyboard
for the storyboard we had to draw pictures of where we would film. These storyboards will outline the story and the camera shots/angles that i will be using. this helps me understand what i am going to do before i start filming because it gives me an idea. Me and Ryan (group member) spent about one hour doing the storyboard draft, animation and final. These three photographs show our final stages of the storyboard. The storyboard has helped us build on ideas we previously had. the storyboard is our vision of what we wanted it to turn out like, all we have to do now is go out and film. But this is our basic interpretations of the ideas that we brainstormed.
This captures the first scenes of our music video. We see the character at the bridge in the beginning reflecting on his past. We want to try and emphasise this scene with feeling by using close ups, 360 rotations and long shots, bringing the audience closer to the audience. As we do a close up of the characters eye, we do an aftereffects zoom-in into his eye to show his steps before he arrived at the bridge. And then afterwards we will show him in current time throwing away the knife and telling himself that he will never do the things he did ever again. The soundtrack is much about a new faith and redemption form the things that we have done. so we really wanted to emphasise this through camera shots that can extract emotions from the characters to make it feel more realer to the audience.
